Moretonhampstead Cricket Club in the Dartmoor National Park, village cricket at its most village The Cricket Club is part of the King George V Playing Fields Trust. The Cricket Club has made a major investment in an artificial pitch, mobile nets and cricket kit. This being supported by Teignbridge Rural Regeneration Partnership, Delegated Fund for Community, an EU and DEFRA funding source as well as club funds and other private donations. Practice and coaching sessions are held from April through to September subject to weather and lighting conditions, and are free to all members. Sessions are not held on the days or the day after when local matches, home or away, are scheduled
